Golf Course Builders Association of America
The Golf Course Builders Association of America is a nonprofit trade association of the world’s foremost golf course builders and leading suppliers to the golf course construction industry. It was founded in the early 1970’s and its members represent all segments of the golf course construction industry.
United States Golf Association
The United States Golf Association is the national governing body of golf for the U.S. and Mexico. The USGA’s most visible role is played out each season in conducting 13 national championships, including the U.S. Open. The USGA also writes the Rules of Golf, conducts equipment testing, funds research for better turf and better environment, maintains a Handicap System, celebrates the history of the game and administers an ongoing grants program.
Virginia Golf Course Superintendents Association
The Virginia Golf Course Superintendents Association was formed in 1999 to better serve its members through unified representation on a state and national level and by advancing their professional growth. In 2006, the association established a permanent office in Glen Allen, VA and effected the consolidation of its five local associations.

Ohio Turfgrass Foundation
The purpose of the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation is to promote the turfgrass industry in Ohio, to encourage the further study, research and education of turfgrass science, and to speak on matters of policy affecting the turfgrass industry – all of which provide better turf for everyone.
